Alex Prough
How's it going? My name is Alex Prough. What's yours? A simple introduction and 2 questions can make all the difference in someone else's day. Whether you're talking to a friend or a coworker you don't know, asking someone how they're doing is a great way to make a connection. Building new connections and friendships allows you to discover different ideas and workflows that you can use in your life. I aspire to be someone who is open to new ideas and people that come into my life. I hope to work for a company that places emphasis on 2 of my biggest values; inclusivity and hard work. I love to help the people in my life and learn from them at the same time.
As an undergraduate assistant at Miami University, I work hard to teach students of all skill levels how to critically think about our media today. As an intern at Kohl's, I'll participate in a supervisor role and get to teach and interact with many of the warehouse workers by writing reports and managing my own department. And as a student at Miami University, I continue to learn and grow every day by engaging with content and by listening to my professors.
Whether I'm at home or on the job, moving forward with my career I hope to inspire people through my dedication to be inclusive, take the opportunities that present themselves and always work hard.
